Our plant pots are expertly poured by hand using Jesmonite, a sustainable and non-toxic material. This makes our pots not only beautiful but also environmentally responsible.

Jesmonite is not waterproof but we do coat the inside of the pots with a waterproof sealant.

Allowing water to sit in a handmade jesmonite plant pot can cause damage to the pot over time. Jesmonite is a porous material, which means it can absorb water (although we have tried to reduce this by using a sealer on the inside), causing it to swell and potentially crack. To protect your pot, be sure to remove any excess water after watering and allow the pot to fully drain before replacing the plant. This will help keep your pot in good condition and extend its lifespan.

Plant care - Allowing water to sit in the bottom of the pot can lead to root rot and other problems for your plant. Instead, be sure to drain any excess water after watering and avoid over-watering. It's also recommended to ensure adequate drainage by using a potting mix with good drainage properties and placing a layer of gravel at the bottom of the pot. Proper care and attention will help ensure the health and longevity of your plant.
